Description
The Merlot for La Maze was harvested on 13/10/12; after a few days of maceration in vats, it fermented for a total vatting of 25 days with a post-fermentation maceration, before being racked and placed in new barrels, in French oak of 225L, for about 18 months, where it has also carried out malolactic fermentation. After bottling, the wine rested in the bottle for a few years before being put on the market, so as to allow the tannins of this cuvée to soften.
